What is an ebook?
An ebook is an electronic book; namely, a file containing the text of a book formatted for easy reading on the screen of your PC, Mac, portable computer and, in many cases, handheld device or latest generation mobile.

Ebooks are not meant to replace printed books, but they give you the opportunity of:

• saving money, as they are cheaper than printed books;
• choosing a font size to suit your particular needs;
• surfing the book thanks to a comfortable link network;
• bringing a number of books along when you go on a trip;
• building up a multi-thousand volume library in a tiny space on your hard drive;
• having your books available anywhere you have Internet access.
